Guidelines to maintain proper oral hygiene

CLEAN BETWEEN THE TEETH

-Toothpick

A good toothpick is made of wood, triangular in shape and extends into a point. Because the space between two teeth is triangular in shape, a triangular toothpick cleans the most efficiently.

Tooth or floss

To work smoothly, work around 40 cm (about forearm as your forearm) floss wire and wrap the ends around both wrist or middle fingers. Thumb and index finger can be used to guide the silk thread

Insert the dental side with a moving motion between two teeth beyond the point at which both teeth touch each other. Then bend the dental side around the side of the tooth and push it gently into the pocket, so under the gums

Gently put him in the pocket, so under the gums. Gently pull the dental side, with a moving movement, along the tooth crown outwards (to the on- A good oral hygiene 7 allows for the upper teeth, upwards for the lower teeth), until the tooth contacts his neighbor .
-Interdental brush
If the space between the teeth is larger, interdental brushes work much more efficiently.
Interdental brushes are available in different sizes.
The right size is very important: ask for advice on your periodontology, dentist or dental hygienist.
A too small interdental brush cleans insufficiently and excessively damages the icing or gums.
-Handand brush
The toothbrush under a slant of 45 degrees to just against the gum edge (up for the upper teeth,
down for the lower teeth). As a result, the hairs of the brush may penetrate into the pocket
-Electric toothbrush
Many people prefer an electric toothbrush because brushing is faster due to the faster brush movements.
Here too, the placement of the brush is very important for optimal results.
Place the brush against the gums but not on it
